Your Practical Test

Your driving licence and photo identity must be shown to your examiner before you start your test.  We will make sure you check that you have the correct documents before you leave for the test centre.  Your test will then begin with an eyesight test which if you fail means the test is cancelled! 

During the test your examiner will try to ensure you cover a wide variety of different road conditions. From quiet low-speed roads to busy high-speed roads and town or city centre driving. 

Your test will last around 40 minutes and will also include these special exercises (and, optionally, an emergency stop):

  Reverse parking

  Reversing around a corner

  Turn in the road

We'll teach you everything you need to know, don't panic!
