The
multiple choice element of the theory test consists of 50
multiple choice questions. To
pass you must answer 43 questions correctly. You select
your answers by simply touching the screen. Very easy,
if you know your stuff! You
will only get one question at a time, and you can
"flag" questions so you can go back to them
later. If you change your mind about an answer you
selected, you can also go back to change it at any time during
the test. Anything
you need to know about the theory test is in "The Highway
Code", "Driving the Essential Skill", "The
Theory Test For Car Drivers" and "Know Your Traffic
Signs". You
may also want to see if any of your friends have an up-to-date
Theory Test CD-Rom to play in your PC. You will likely
learn faster because CD-Rom programs are interactive, but a
software program does not necessarily replace the books
such as "The Highway Code".
